It really doesn't matter man.

If they would have switched positions, the opposite would just happen. American troops would have pushed through, and Canadian troops would have needed help. It makes no difference in the end.

And I am not sure if you are trying to make fun of the Canadian Military of this time... Because anybody who knows anything about war knows that whenever the Canadians would move into a position (especially in WWI), it meant something big was about to happen.
