Hmm is the Bot AI better than Ts2? Cause Ts2's bots start to get a bit, um, easy. Even on the hardest level.
I think Ts2 may still have it beat for Multi-play just because of the amount of players it allows. I've played a 4 on 4 battle (all human) between 2 Ps2s... and a 6 on 6 Battle with 4 Ps2s.
Of course, it's hard to network.
I have an iLink, any played it 8 player at my house, when I played 12 player I was at a rental place. They let you take any game and play for one hour for one dollar. We decided to link up 4 Ps2s... my god it was insane.
We were at the level where you can controll the security cameras! I was on a 2 player TV, me and him decided to work the two cameras/drone guns. Got one guy on the machine gun, one guy guarding the case, and two runners. It was insane. We had to have played for 4 hours... most fun I've ever had with a FPS.
I played a network Halo game before, but due to the fact that I didn't know how to play that well, it wasn't as fun. Playing Humans on screens you can't see is so much better than playing the predictable computer.
But back on subect, if Red faction only allows 6, there is no way I can see it beating TS2... even in bot play, cause Ts2 allows you to put in 10 bots. Playing a good ol 4 on 10 game against the CPU is fun
