LOL
"Even worse: He says all babies will be born dead for 35 years to punish the species for abortion."
Sounds like that meteor is pretty pissed at us...
This is just more religious bullsh-t made up by some old nut that has no friends or family and desperately wants attention.
The world's already supposed to have ended like 20 times in the last few years.
Just to name a few, it was going to end in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2013 (Hmmm... Isn't that a year after this little prediction?), and so on, and so forth. It's disgusting. I wish these people who talk all this sh-t would just shut the f-ck up already. What a bunch of annoying rejects. I place them on my hate list right behind those Greenpeace assholes.

People have predicted Armageddon for decades now. The predictions never came true. We can't predict Armageddon, because the bible says that only God knows that day. Not even Jezus knows when it will happen.
And the number of 144.000 is something else, not the number of survivors.
And people have found predictions of deaths of important people in 'Moby Dick', so it doesn't mean a thing!

That is merely a theory. Like you said . Nothing has been proved though.

Jin, firstly, the people on Earth are not God's children. And if there is a god, ofcourse the Earth will cease to exist one day, and so will all the living beings in the Universe, as if there was a God, there would be heaven and hell, one of which will be the abode for many people.

No, that's when the apocalypse will take place according to some tablets archaeologists (sp?) found in an ancient Mayan city...
Really though, I saw it on the Discovery Channel...
(Not that anything will actually happen)

I know, I was just using that as an analogy.

God and Jesus are the same. Even though they are Father and Son, they are the same people.

I think Angrist is trying to point out in the Bible where it says that only God knows when the last days are, and that Jesus doesn't even know. That part makes me kind of wonder whether Jesus and God are the same thing. You have to remember that most of the Bible is just in symbols and parabals.
Anyway, let's not get into this too deep and just focus on the topic at hand. Otherwise this'll be another one of those 5 page useless threads that get nowhere.

Yes. It is true. Jesus and God are the same. Everything that God knows, Jesus knows. Why? Because they are both one God.
God is made up of three parts : the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All three are the same, but different.

The Bible can be very confusing and contradicting, but it's mostly because we're not sure how to interpret all the symbols and parabols. I think we should all just live good lives without regret, and wait for the next messiah to explain all the mysteries. People spend too much time trying to prove that their religion or denomination is right, and that everyone elses is wrong. Almost all religions are based on the same principle, live an unselfish life. A lot of people in differrent religion are so caught up in trying to prove they're right that they don't have enough time to realize that most religions are practically the same. Wars and hate crimes are happening all the time for no reason, and it's not because of religion, it's because of stubborn, prideful, and greedy people that use it as an excuse.

*claps hands*
Excellent, Jin. We feel the same way.
I am a Catholic, but I really do not think that believing in God and going to church are all what it is cracked up to be. Love your neighbour, and be nice to all. Don't hate. Who cares about religion. Who am I to say that Christian-ism is the true religion? If I do believe that, it don't matter. If I am nice and do not hate, whatever God is truly the man, he will love me for my ways.
F*uck religion. Haha.. Well... Religion should be used as a guide... not to fight over which is true or better.
