I think there is a law about open liquor in public. I didnt know you could be fined so highly for it though, and it definitely does not justify the bullshit. Its not like I was chugging it as I walked by, I just wanted to get on the bus.

I guess you dont really think about these kind of things until they happen to you. If I saw some cops take another guys stuff id probably laugh at him, but I dont know how that could impact his life. Maybe he just lost his job/house/wife and was on the verge of a mental breakdown and thats all it took to go on a genocidal rampage. Humans a fragile things, and stupid things.
