Vick has a broken hand? Ouch.
I haven't actually watched a full Lions game yet, I've just seen highlights and bits and pieces of their last two games.

ESPN is hyping them up like they are the real deal. It's probably still premature to tell.

For example, I watched the 4th Quarter of the Bills vs. Pats game, and Fitzpatrick played really well but he also made a few mistakes that could be detrimental down the road. So despite the hype and momentum, I have to think the Bills will come back to earth eventually. The rest of the more established and consistent pack will catch up.

You have to imagine that both Fitzpatrick and Stafford are being studied on tape across the NFL, and that as the season moves forward teams will get better at defending them.

Packers and Lions would be fun. I'm kind of pulling for an epic Bears meltdown. This organization needs new blood, starting at the top with Jerry Angelo. I can dream right?

Oops, I meant Casey Matthews, not Clay. Clay is the good son.

Also, one issue that needs to be addressed (at least by the media) is Vick's inability to read defenses or check off to hot routes. The o-line is getting a lot of bad press, but quite honestly they aren't playing badly, and they're actually pretty good at run blocking.

Vick holds on the ball far too long, and I have yet to see him make a audible when faced with blitzes or coverage changes. Look at any high-level QB in this league and you'll see a player who plays brain first and talent second. Vick simply isn't playing like a top-level QB so far this season.

I've been so confused since you posted your initial post about Clay.
