What do you guys think about the WII Controller choice?

well If I were nintendo which I'm not, I would have easily made the wii classic pro controller standalone. I mean they added side grips, and made it look somewhat of dual shock clone, but they couldn't just made it a standalone or at least usb wireless/wired powered? It's still a wii classic controller, same price, same everything, with a touch of grips and some other functions
