Actually as jeepnut informed me (Here) that the mafia get their kill first so sorry Angrist but you are dead BLueFire is all alone. The galaxy has been conquered by the Sith. That's why the Mafia won and it was not a draw.

I firmly believe that people should be given a chance to explain themselves first. What would happen if you did not post through no fault of your own, say your internet connection went down. I do not think people should be penalised in certain circumstances, not without them offering an explanation anyway. Innocent until proven guilty, game makers descretion and all that

That's why you get 1 round, but no more.

Because he didn't even visit GT yesterday. You can tell by the "Total members who visited today" feature.
And to Vamp -- I agree about the two days inactivity. I was initialing going to be that strict, but then later I decided to be more lenient. I would probably be more strict in the future. Tornadothrasher played the game in a rather unfair manner.

Bube doesn't use invisible mode, though. I believe we only have one member who does.
But I see your point.

I still find it funny you won that battle.. although I still don't know what grounds you were basing your accusations on.
My greatest legacy was my death though as I watched you folks chase your own tail for two rounds killing off TML and Swan.
I will give BF credit for thinking to not always vote with your alliance.
Though that bite us in the ass once when Combine refused to vote for Ric which would have killed him.

Well to be fair, I believe he only didn't post in one round, he didn't get the bare minimum two posts in another round.

I honestly don't think I've ever been in a Mafia game where people haven't suspected me. I may have to go back, but I don't think I ever made it past a 3rd or 4th round.
I don't want to sound too full of myself, but when don't I... I think its simply because as far as I know, I have always been the most active backstage move maker, forming alliances with people here and there.
In the game itself, I don't think I've done anything out of the ordinary.

I did however watch every thread, and it seemed obvious (to me, anyhow) that Tornado and BF was mafia. I also assumed Three Dog was, because he owed me a backstabbing after last game.
The vigilante seemed to lack purpose at times, however. Which was a major downfall for the innocents.
|
Yeah, I owed you a backstabbing, and I got my payback on Teuthida. And even though not directly, eventually on Jeepnut though think was responsible for outting him in last Mafia anyhow.
As an outsider with insider knowledge, I would have assumed Vamp and Angrist was Mafia.
Vamp was always changing his votes, and coming up with a scheme to trick people so he could vote against them. My favorite day was when I believe TT/BF were all but voted out, and then Swan enters the thread and Vamp pulls the trigger which creates this effect and somehow the two Mafia survive because the villagers were able to create this scenario in their head.
And that was the biggest thing I learned watching this game, at the end of the day it isn't about evidence or voting record, it is about who can get the most people to follow their insane logic. No matter if it goes against their instincts.

Re: Mafia: Star Wars – Final Results & Post-Game Talk
I'm still pissed off that I didn't go with BF in the end.
Then again, it would have been a coin toss, which is never fun. (Teuthida woke up after the round ended, so he couldn't change his vote.)
I'd like to know why I was suspicious in this game. I mean, I didn't mind that I was, but I would just like to know what people were thinking.

Actually, you nor Teuthida really popped on anyone's radar.
I actually mentioned to Teuthida before the game started that somehow he always seems to remain under the radar which is why so easy for him to make it to the final round.... he just needs to win one

Re: Mafia: Star Wars – Final Results & Post-Game Talk
I actually kind of suspected Germy and Angrist once BaB got voted out. I figured BaB and Tornado where the obvious Mafia, but both Angrist and Germy were very vague.

I wasn't sure. I was extremely relieved when I found out that you were indeed mafia.
However, a couple of things tipped me off. The first was you contacting me to form an alliance. Never before have we had any significant contact in a mafia game outside of the game threads so I thought that was odd almost right off the bat.
The second was your immediate desire to go after Dylflon and your reluctance to vote off someone who wasn't actively playing the game. I kind of wondered, "Why does he care so much?"
The third and most substantial clue was when I asked you if we could swing the vote, and you said.

But the thing that finally made me sure, was when you immediately attacked me after I switched my vote at the end of round one even though I had been cooperating with you. You lead me to change my vote and then you take the safe route and you blame me for doing the same. I thought, "He's going to use this to his advantage and get me voted out unfairly." From then on, I was sure you were mafia and after the Combine vote and I had a good idea of who I could trust, I made it my focus to get you voted out.
Well, it was either that or blind rage. Either way, I was convinced you were mafia.

Re: Mafia: Star Wars – Final Results & Post-Game Talk
So other question: How did we end up voting off Combine? Did it really start with Bube pointing out Combine made a random vote?

That was fun... so it seems Bube and I were right about BF
but still, I know I was kinda passive in this game. first time is always hard I'll try to be more active in future games.

Combine and I had been in contact and he was aware that I was defending him, believing that he was good. Had he voted for me in this case I would have known, categorically, that he was Mafia. As I did with you when you turned against me. Combine was covering his own arse there.
Oh and FTR had he voted for me I would have voted for him instead of you making it a draw again so it would have been down to the coin toss. Makes no odd's since Fyacin fucked me up anyway

It was just a feeling I had. I felt you had been overlooked by most people if not everyone. There was nothing specifically that you done but I had two phrases in mind:
1. hard to see the dark side is
2. one of the devils greatest tricks is deception
I had no real proof, just a feeling. Call it intuition if you will
Funny how at points in the game I had been in contact with Combine, Three Dog and BLueFire and they all convinced me they were good, for a time. The only ones I was really sure about in the end were Three Dog and tornado.
