Ok, that was an intense round. I was actually thinking that the mafia had put up Jeepnut and BaB against eachother and that they were both innocent.

Now that we have caught 2 mafiosi, it should be easier to find patterns in the previous rounds.

BlueFire, yes I think you're suspicious because you're indecisive. You're also always raising suspicion, but never voting. It appears that BaB did the same, convincing people without sticking his own head out.
You also voted a few times without giving good reasons. On people who we now know were innocent.

Admittedly, I also voted for innocent. I was telling BaB about that over MSN yesterday... people seemed to follow my voting in round 1 and 2. I remembered what Manasecret had said in the sign-up thread, so it was a 'safe' vote.
In round 2 I suddenly remembered I hadn't voted yet, while I was at a friend and we were about to go to the cinema. I quickly logged in on his laptop and needed to cast a vote. Ric didn't have any votes yet, and because he talked so much, he caught my attention.
I would personally be more suspicious of the people who added to the count (TML, Vampyr, BaB, Dylflon).

I was suspicious of Vampyr, but he made the decisive vote against BaB. Again, that would be a very daring strategy of the mafia.

About Dylflon.... he's been saying for 3 rounds that this round will be his last. His end never came. But again, we can always kill him off later, when there's just 1 mafiosi left.

I was most suspicious of Dylflon the entire last round, I admit. However, if you look my votes, I had my vote cast for BaB almost the entire day, only switching to Dyl a couple of times.

It turned out not to be a strategy whenever Jeepnut voted for combine (although I thought it was too, for a while).

I think people we need to look are the ones like you said: people who seem indecisive or gave their votes without reason.

Specifically, I am looking at Nighthawk and thatmariolover, both of which voted for Jeepnut in the last round.

Nighthawk's reasoning was 'I'm going to vote without thinking too much about it'

ThatMarioLover's vote for jeepnut came in a little before BaB's...and I don't think he ever changed it. In the last round, Jeepnut was the best hope that the mafia had for voting off a villager, since it was a racing tie between him and BaB. I think we should look at people who voted for him. If I had been in the mafia, I could have switched my vote from Dyl to Jeepnut, and tied things up to save BaB.

BaB (dead) (mafia)

Swan

It would make sense that the two remaining mafia were two of the other three.

Indeed, I think you're on the right track, Vampyr. Those three have been fairly quiet and that's usually a pretty good and dangerous tactic when you are Mafia because you slip between the cracks. I'm not sure I'm ready to vote now, but I think I might head in that direction.

We may have to be wary of the people who voted who, what I would call, "gave their votes away" Someone like Bluefire who voted for someone who had no chance of getting voted out. This takes him away from any suspicion because he didn't vote for Jeepnut or against Bab...I dunno, it's a different kind of strategy. I might have to take a look at round 3 again to see how the votes played out.

Ok here's what I think. Feel free to add. Dylflon, how about that information you've been promising for 2 rounds now?

1. jeepnut - Padme Amidala --> good guy
2. Dylflon - Chewbacca --> either the seer, or very smart mafia
3. Teuthida - Boba Fett --> not sure. He makes too complicated theories to be mafia imo.
4. tornadothrasher - Jabba the Hutt --> no idea. Terribly quiet. !Clarification He also missed a post in 2 rounds, doesn't that disqualify him?
5. thatmariolover - Obi-Wan Kenobi --> no idea.
6. Bube - Princess Leia Organa --> good guy
7. Nighthawk - Emperor Palpatine --> no idea
8. Swan - R2-D2 --> no idea
9. Angrist - Han Solo --> good guy, and handsome too
10. The Germanator - Yoda --> good guy
11. BlueFire - General Grievous --> suspicious in my book, but no idea tbh
12. Vampyr - Qui-Gon Jinn --> good guy

I used to love being online around the deadline, for some last minute action. But I'll have to get my vote in right now.
Just give me a few minutes to think and maybe wait for a reaction.

Nah I read the rules, you have to be inactive for more than 2 rounds.
I don't really understand why Swan got his final warning, when he was only inactive in 1 round.

Anyway, I have to go home and cook diner. See you and the results tomorrow.

well I said that not to get too much attention in case Bab got voted out and was good. the thing is, I talked things over with Bab and I was convinced that he was good. As I said before, I was tricked, and Bab new how to manipulate the new guy... not that he tried hard, I guess I just wanted to trust him. my bad.

I know, Jabba isn't usually too quiet of a dude but honestly, I've never played mafia before and instead of pissing everyone off by doing stupid things/not knowing too many people on GT, I'm just trying to roll through the game and figure some stuff out.

I have to be totally honesty, BaB had me duped. I believed him.

On the other hand, he also told me to trust Dylflon, which makes me trust him even less than I already do. I'd suggest we vote Dylflon off unless he can illuminate us with his Seer skills. I think it's possible Dylflon claimed he was the Seer in order to draw the real Seer out in anger so that the mafia could kill him off.

All right, here's my "big" thing.

Fyacin told me, Germy and jeepnut that he was the vigilante. And got killed. Make of that what you will. I don't know if he had told anybody else. Or if it was a lucky guess by the mafia.

But seeing how everybody voted for Combine and BaB (I didn't, I know, but I was manipulated by him, unfortunately), I'm not really sure.

I'm quite suspicious of BlueFire, and I !vote BLuefire.

I'm halfway to believing this, since he tried the same thing with me.

I'm starting to get the feeling that 1 or 2 of the remaining mafia haven't been playing.

I don't really know what to say. I wanted to trust somebody right away, BaB was a bad choice but he was fairly central in the alliance last game so I decided to start with him.

Now, the things BaB wanted me to believe make me suspicious. He was very protective of Dylflon and Vampyr. It was a bit foolish for him to say things like in the event that he was offed. I think the mafia decided since BaB looked so suspicious they were going to off him in the votes. Thus they make two of their own look innocent. After all, they voted for BaB.

That's why I'm holding to my vote for Dylfon. I firmly believe that he and Vampyr are the last two Mafia.
