The apology everyone has been waiting for. Seems sincere enough but he could also just be trying to save face.

I think the apology was legit....
he admitted that it was out of line, but he defended himself that he was really into the roll (which is believable since Bale is a serious actor).

The reality is, drawing out a good yelling into a 4-minute tantrum is crossing the threshold and Bale manned up to it.
