I welcome our radar overlords personally. Granted, its a double edge sword when playing against humans as they can use the radar against you.

Except the Metal Gear effect.

In which all the truly badass moments occur in cutscenes and you can't do anything similar to it at all in the game.

I don't like first person shooters that choose a stupid field of view. 90 degrees feels good. Everything else is a little off, and with some games, it makes it feel like I pressed the zoom button.
