Well this prediction thingy got me to watch soccer...so I guess that's good...

Even thought the Drake Tribe got immunity with that win..I would have much rather seen France win the World Cup. The player on Italy with the number 16 is an *******. I also thought Zidane was great..but why the hell did he do that? He's a veteran, and he's not playing for the national or club team that he's a part of next year. It was his last game..and he is France's best penalty kicker. What a stupid move.

Well, this was his last game ever, I believe.
He came out of retirement (again, I believe) to play this world cup.

So givin it's his last game, he may have wanted to make an impact.
He did just that.
Look at this board even. More posts about Zidane, than about Italy winning. And we arent even a sport forum.

Part of me just thinks he wanted to get talked about, go out "on top". Instead of being overshadowed by possibly losing the world cup.

Either that or the Italy player must have said something horrible to him. But it didnt even look like they were chatting it up.

But I know what that's like, sometimes you just let emotion get the best of you, especially when the ref isnt looking.

I never thought of that. I just wish he didn't do that. France could have used him for penalty kicks..
