Isn't that somewhat of an awful attitude to take though? I'm assuming much genocide and tragedies throughout world history have not affected you, so that means you just don't care about them?

I'm more excited by the cooperation of Suni's and Shiites than by the killing of that guy. Even thoguh he definently deserved to die. Isn't he the one who cut that persons head off in the video that got sent out everywhere?

Yes he is. His nickname was "The Slaughterer Shiek". Nick Berg was not the only person he personally beheaded, either.
