Re: No wonder Nintendo is secretive
well if your think crashes original post was to say why nintendo is secretive, then your kidding yourself. you need to dig deeper and look at his posts to see what his intentions really are.

Re: No wonder Nintendo is secretive
thatmariolover, give it a rest. you're trying to squeeze blood out of a rock at this point.
this kinda thing happens in business all the time, and it doesnt make it wrong. it's the reason why very few markets are monopolized. which is GOOD for business. nobody is breaking any copyright laws...it's not stagnant or wrong, you're just trying to pull an arguement out of your rear.
and I was surprised Crash would make a thread out of this garbage...really, I am

I have a Gamecube, a PS2, an Xbox, and a computer. I'll hug them all, equally thank you.
I am bent out of shape, but don't take everything I post 100% seriously. That picture was supposed to be more funny then serious.
And thatmariolover is way off base.

Re: No wonder Nintendo is secretive
Oh brother.....Nintendo is secretive because they think it's good for the suspense and hype of the Revolution..... because they think that if people don't know much about the system it will leave them in suspense... which is at some times a good thing.
Sony didn't steal anything from Microsoft and Microsoft hasn't stolen anything from Nintendo. Internet has been a gateway for people to connect for many years now. It's an idea that is being expanded upon for next-gen gaming within Microsoft's and Sony's camp. It's not thievery to expand on what is already a good online gaming plan.
And Microsoft stealing Nintendo's idea of a handle? If I'm not mistaken, the handle was invented way way back. So only a fanboy would think that Nintendo created the handle concept. And yes, even if you own all three systems you CAN and WILL have a favorite.
Simply put, ideas will either be fabricated, collaborated, or copied. In the end, the competition makes better business. But the simple fact that the Online Gaming was stolen from Microsoft is complete bull. The simple fact that Microsoft stole the handle from Nintendo is complete bull.
Online gaming made it's presence with Dreamcast, and that was the first online gaming community. Handles were here before the GameCube, and ideas were copied and ellaborated on for many centuries. Now.... stop this useless bantering... because it only creates a static atmosphere of favoritism.

If there's something to be discussed then there's something to be discussed. I wasn't pulling an argument from anywhere. And I think if you'd actually read the thread I was the only person in the argument that didn't resort to posting offensive images or insulting people simply for making a post.
I stated that I disagreed and I gave my reasons. I thought my last post had a sense of finality to it. A sort of, let's agree to disagree sort of thing. I was trying to resolve the argument not start it.

I'm way off base for what? I was disapproving of what you said, and told you why. What's a forum without diversity? If you can't handle a disagreement without being rude, grow up.

No not at all, I didn't mean you. I meant between Killer Gremlin, Null and I. But I was very wrong anyway, going back reading, Null was very calm.
We're really misunderstanding each other.
