Re: Mario 128 likely for Revolution
Yeah, I know what he meant by that. Not really 'ready enough' for the showroom floor but behind closed doors show it off to a few select people.
My guess is that they are still trying to finalize the hardware and wont have enough time to make up some tech demo's for everyone to try or a level of a game to come down the road. Hopefully not having it not be accessible to everyone on the floor wont give too much of an advantage to Sony and MS considering its all but guaranteed they will be playable on the floor.

Re: Mario 128 likely for Revolution
Hm..... "sharing our vision for Revolution" doesn't sound that good either. This means that they could just say "ok launch next year, with online this time, isn't it great?".
We want to see the 'revolutionary' technology!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Mario 128 likely for Revolution
This guy Reggie is real..... He realizes what Nintendo has done wrong and now he is trying to fix it. My favorite part of this interview is that he lays no mention to Microsoft being competition...
And to all the Microsoft fans..... we ALL know the Xbox2 will be a mechanical work of art, but I personally found it funny.
But it's kind of obvious with all the hype that Nintendo would be looking to contend with Sony first and Microsoft second.

Revolution won't be accessible on the floor? Boo.
It's good to hear Reggie's still kicking. Ass, that is. I wonder if this year's schpiel is going to be as great as last year's.

Re: Mario 128 likely for Revolution
You have to remember, Sony stole Ninty's pedestal in the console market, so now they are seeking 'revenge' per se

Re: Mario 128 likely for Revolution
I wouldn't say they stole it. Ken Kutaragi took it out of Nintendo's hand, said "Wow this is nice..." and then ran like hell... Reggie being a bit big boned... couldn't keep up.
hehehehe

Re: Mario 128 likely for Revolution
I really hope that Mario 128 is for the GCN.
I want another, GOOD Mario game. I liked sunshine, but it didn't have that classic Mario feel.
And GM, I wouldn't be complaining about Christmas...didn't we wait much much longer for OoT than this Zelda?

Vampyr is right, you guys need to stop being so impatient and just allow time for a great game to be created. +rep to Vampyr
