Re: Somebody please tell me this is not true...
It is true.
For years, ketchup has always been directed toward a young audience. Packaging small prizes like stickers, tatoos, and minature yo-yos. Recent declines in ketchup sales has prompted marketers to reach out to older audiences in hopes of regaining their lost demand. To capivate older consumers, marketers decided to use the same tactic that was used to grab the attention of kids: include a prize.
While this particular prize may be a little racy, ketchup sales have risen 56% since this new prize was introduced nearly two weeks ago. Market analysts also like to note that the average buyer was female and ranged in between 20-36 years of age.

That made some sense... Then again, if they are going all to gain more sales, why choose a medium sized penis? Everyone knows that a larger one will get more attention.
Ketchup, your new cereal! (with reference to the gift with purchase comment)
I can't believe I just said that... BTW GM, great post. +rep.

Yeah what about the guy that misses a penis.... He must be dead when you think of it.

Re: Somebody please tell me this is not true...
It happened with Snapple a while ago. A man or woman, can't remember, in Canada found a penis at the bottom of her Snapple.
Thank god we here in America have the FDA. F*cking Canadian factory workers walking around naked. :P

it's true.... it IS a good thing the FDA is here... unless the FDA approves it only when they've snuck some disgusting goodies inside.

What's with penises in food these days? Why would someone put it in there? I mean, getting a sex change is one thing, but putting it in a package is another.
BTW, I have a slide show of a real sex change operation. I could send it to whoever wants it. It is [b]not[/i] something to be looked at just out of curiosity. Be warned.
And when will we see a penis being sold as a hot dog?
