That's harsh.

I grew up in Malaysia where motor races were usually confined to the later television time slots or the Sunday no-one-can-really-be-bothered-watching-television afternoon ones. That was it until recently when Malaysia got her first proper racing track and came up with her first local F1 'hero' (who, ironically, has been dumped by Minardi after a few seasons of dismal display).

While F1 is well known, NASCAR is probably unheard of in Malaysia unless you are a die hard racing fan. I may be wrong as I don't follow this sport. Oh well.
