That was a different time back then, when radio spoke only the truth. Imagine if you heard about the end of the world on the internet now....

...well that doesn't really compare.

I'd rather see a remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" but it might not go over too well, seeing as how we love war and all now days.

Ive been keeping my eye on this one for awhile now. Looks awsome to me...from that initial preview, im thinking it might not follow too closely to the actual broadcast, but I could be wrong...

Oh, and BTW, I also heard that this movie has the highest starting budget for a movie ever, at 200 Million dollars. Im too lazy to go find the article, but it sounded to me like they wouldnt be afraid to go well over that budget if need be, Speilberg said something like "No expense will be spared"

I never saw it but when I saw the previews for it in theaters it looked like it was going to be real cool and awesome? What's wrong with it?

lol...previews always make movies look cool and awsome...like Alexander (which is also crap)...go see AI and you'll understand.
