Re: Segaton!
Now that they have new ownership, they might stop failing at everything!!! Good news for sega imo.

Re: Segaton!
No, it was either Matrix Online, or Phantasy Star Universe.
But I think this buyout will directly affect the industry in some way.

Re: Segaton!
There were too many S's in that...i dont think this will stop Sega from failing.....those two things go hand in hand....

If you are refering to 'Sega' and 'Failing' as the two things than go hand in hand, I agree

Re: Segaton!
This is good news... Sega can add their knowledge to the making of a new Guilty Gear which will feature Sonic as a hidden character

Re: Segaton!
Bad news. Because Sammy has always been talking about making more pachinko machines rather then games so I dont see good in the merger.
And why did sega have to sell to Sammy? There are tons more companies that are better to buyout sega then sammy.

Re: Segaton!
^ Nice red X
Anyway, I agree with Jonbo, anyone else couldve taken the series further. Nintendo, Sony, Micro$oft, Capcom, EA or any others wouldve been good

I was under the impression that it was a hostile takeover. 78% of the shares.. holy crap. That is a LOT. Even after their previous stake.
