Re: Deviant Acts
1. Anytime you eat in a public place, chew your food, spit it back out, and THEN eat it.
2. Walk around campus with a cup. Leave your mouth open like a retard so that you start drooling. Anytime it starts coming out, catch it with the cup, drink it and say, "I've got to stay hydrated!!!"
3. Introduce yourself to a bunch of strangers. Whenever you meet one, lick your whole left hand and stretch out your right (dry) one, as if you want to shake theirs. That will get people looking at you very quickly.
Interesting assignment. So many possibilities.

Re: Deviant Acts
Err, talk to someone you respect on the phone (parents maybe) and use foul language, and act like it's normal... then write about it, then call back and say that it was for a class assingment. Unless you live with them, then I dunno.

I tried the walking backwards thing a little bit in school today. Hilarious. I knocked some poor kid right on his ass

Re: Deviant Acts
Another thing that you could do and that won't take much time, is every time that someone talks, answer back in rhyme.
It maybe hard to think of one, reciting on the spot, but once you get the hang of it, just act like you totally forgot.
Like you don't know that your doing it, or that you just don't care, some may find it funny, others might just stare.

Re: Deviant Acts
You could also NOT make the report. Than that would be the act.
*wonders if they'll appreciate that*

When you eat at lunch.. don't use utensils OR your hands... eat like a dog would... and then walk around with the food on your face.

Re: Deviant Acts
Haha. Breaking folkways, how fun.
In my sociology class we had to break them too.
I hid in between clothes racks at Target, jumped out, and scared people. This lasted about 15 minutes before I was banned from the premises....
My friend's, though... His was awesome. He went to a public restroom, stood at a urinal, pulled his pants down to his ankles and just stood there for an hour. Every time the place would empty out he'd whip out a small note pad and jot down peoples reactions.
