Deviant Acts
I'm in a sociology class right now. We have an assignment to commit a deviant act and then write about it. This includes things like staring at people in the elevator or sitting on the floor in class. Things that go against the norm. I want to be original/unique in this. Problem is, I am a goody two shoes and can't think of anything good. So, I am turning to you all.
Any suggestions?
PS: Can't break any laws, school rules, or ethical rules (mores).
I will be gone for the weekend but please keep posting ideas...thanks

It's another night in hell, Another child won't live to tell
Can you imagine what it's like to starve to death
And as we sit free and well, Another soldier has to yell
Tell my wife and children I love them in his last breath
C'mon now amen, amen, amen

Re: Deviant Acts
You could only bark when people speak to you
Or lick their fingers when they say hello
Maybe walk around the whole day backwards
Walk with a sock on your hand, talking to it for answers
Give all your professors a pop quiz and see how they do
I don't know

Re: Deviant Acts
um. here is just a few things I thought of:
1. Talk in lyric. When someone ask you something, reply with lyrics from a song. If you cant think of any, just sing your answer.
2. Use internet lingo to talk. ex. When someone says something funny, say "lol"
3. walk around with your eyes closed.
4. Stalk someone. For like 2 hours.

Ehm, I already do that. I often say lol, sometimes rofl.
Pretend you don't remember ANYONE. When they talk to you, look as if they're moronic and slowly step backwards.
Start talking in another language. If you don't know what to say, make up your own language. Then laugh in their face as if you made fun of them.
I gotta write a small essay about ethics. Cause there are different forms of them... like 'consequence-ethics', 'moral-ethics',....
When I ask someone to stop smoking when they're not allowed to, I 'break the rule' to leave someone alone, to mind your own business. But the consequence is that the dude will stop smoking so other people are happy.
Makes me think of another one for ya:
Ask people to stop smoking when they're not. Shout 'somebody make this man stop smoking' occasionly.

Re: Deviant Acts
If you eat lunch with people, eat COMPLETELY different from them. Eat cow eyes, put pepper on things if you don't. You know.
And yeah, the walking backwards one is good.

Everytime you walk by an asian try speaking random gibberish that sounds like chinese.
Thats what I do everytime I walk by the (Chinese) Internet Cafe.
