hey yanno come to think of it.... the ipod comes with a usb adapter.

except its that odd looking tiny box usb 2 plug that ppl rarely have.

ah well. just happy my sound card had a firewire on it for some reason when i got my ipod. hehe

That's a 4 pin firewire connector.

My dad has one on his laptop.

I didnt read the other posts in the thread .. but if your ipod came with the stand you put it in the stand and plug it into the back of ur computer .. its a firewire to usb port... but its gonna tell you that you plugged a high speed usb into a non high speed port but you can still use it to like .98 mb per second for mine which is still awesome
