TLDW(atch) : Mass Effect 3 will have launch day DLC that is included with the collector's edition of the game. The DLC contains a new character that is core to the ME universe and story.

The DLC is $10. If you get the collector's edition, it comes with it. In the US, the standard edition is $60, collector's edition is $80.
