Actually, it's so great because so many of the pieces are already in midi form (usually converted from the SNES, NES, etc.'s sound format to standard midi). So what you have to do is decide what program you want to use - what instrument packs sound good with the song, and then start adding unique bits in there. This one lacks a bit of originality, but I did slow the tempo and do some fades. But for the most part it was just assigning new midi instruments from a professional package and having the program (Fruity Loops Studio 4) process it into an MP3 since standard midi programs wouldn't be able to process the alternate instruments. From there I do a little bit of MP3 editing and I'm done.
