Bitmaps are kinda obselete anyways. Jpeg is smaller, faster, and better quality.

They're smaller, but I think the REASON they're smaller is because they're WORSE quality...

They get kinda blurry and stuff...... *cough*...

But what is that a picture of?

Well, the nice programs like Photoshop allow you to save Jpegs at different settings or percents of quality so maybe some you've seen were saved at 70% or something. Almost all pictures these days on the internet are in jpeg format.

GIFs are the second most used format for internet display. All those ads you see are gifs. My avatar is a gif. So Yoda, where are you?
