Nicknames!
So, I though a thread about nicknames would be interesting. What type of nicknames do you have outside of GT? That people calll you on a semi regular basis.
For me I have a couple.
With my direct group of friends, I'm either Nadders, Jonads,(Typhoid knows that one) and of course, Big D. Can we see a pattern with these names?
And then in my gym class, some people call me Blue Crush. On account of my blue(well sort of blue now) hair. Oh yeah, I have blueish hair.

Re: Nicknames!
That's funny you mentioned 'Big D' becuase there was a student in my grade last year in high school who also went by Big D. His name was Derik. He was nice and he was also big. Not overweight big really, he was just a big guy, big bones.

That's funny you mentioned that since I knew a guy named Daniel who went by the nickname Big D. I'm thinking it's not an original name.
O_o
Anyway...
My nicknames have been: Bobby (pre-school era), Roberto, Robet, Bob, Jebediah
Yerp.

Re: Nicknames!
Um.....hmmm.....
Joey- Some girls who think its "cute" to call you by your middle name.
Wedge - People used to say "Jew" at our school a year ago, so one day for no reason, my buddy called me "Wej" and it stuck.
Ref - One dork who thinks its fun to point out I referee wrestling . Like....not real wrestling, like WWF wrestling (Meaning scripted....and fake), my friends take it seriously, and put matches up on the net and stuff. And they actually get alot of hits.
Quagmire - Because one day out at the smoke pit with the same guy who called me "Wedge" i was standing there bobbing my head side to side, and happened to yell "OH!".
Snail- This is just between me and this girl, its like one of those "pet names" things. It was a stupid joke with a long story we made on the phone one night like, 3 or 4 years ago, now we call eachother, like, eachothers snails....it makes no sense...but Im not complaining.

Re: Nicknames!
People usually just call me Sam. Yeah, pretty boring I guess. I suppose back in middle/upper school people called me "Sam Dog" or "Hughey" or "Little Wang" at certain points. Nicknames seem to lose their charm at some point, and I guess I've reached it.
Edit: I guess I should elaborate on the "Little Wang" nickname. My dad taught and coached at the school I went to and his players affectionately reffered to him as "Big Wang", so yeah, that's why I was "Little Wang"
