Bush and Kerry tentatively agree to 3 debates

Sorry I don't have the link with me. Beginning Sept 30 Bush and Kerry will hopefully have the first of three debates. I'm very surprised Bush would agree to a full 3 debates since Kerry stands to benefit the most from them. Of course they didn't really help Gore any.

I think Bush is agreeing to 3 because he hopes to catch Kerry into actually having to pick a stance on certain issues.

Because, as of now, he has been very flippity-floppity. But, there is no way to tell who will turn out on top at the end of this. If Bush can stand firm and not get caught up too badly in his words, then he could do well.

Kerry is a great public speaker, i think he'll fair extremely well.
