Need songs for playlist
Due to the staggering lack of things to accomplish during the summer months, I've been listening to a lot of music. I've listened the **** out of pretty much everything I have and would like to make a new playlist.
So if any of you would like to suggest some good songs, I would greatly appreciate it.

So..if you need any music by them, just ask me.
For some of them I only have 1 or 2 songs though..
I need some Yardbirds and ELP.
Edit: I also need some Byrds and Hollies...oh yeah, some Cars too, but I'll ask Germy for that one.

I've also got some Lynyrd Skynyrd

Re: Need songs for playlist
*Quirks brow at ZebraRampage*
Well, I may not have all of that but I have a few suggestions myself:
1. Nine Inch Nails
2. Back Sabbath
3. Led Zeppelin
Lately, I've been listening to certain bands as well if you wanna check them out:
4. Breaking Benjamin
5. Flaw
6. Seether
7. Chimaira
8. Spineshank
9. Lostprophets
I strongly suggest Breaking Benjamin and Lostprophets if you're gonna check any of these out.... They are really good and extremely underrated in my point of view. But, alas, that always makes a band/artist more kick ass, doesn't it?
So, that's my 2 cents......

Re: Need songs for playlist
..And it looks like I'm the j-rock guy around here, if DH doesn't come in this thread.
Dir En Grey (Cage, most other stuff), X Japan (Silent Jealousy or that 30 minute long one, if you can find it) Glay (most stuff) Gackt (I like all of it, specifically the Rebirth album), L'arc~en~Ciel (more Mainstream, happy sound), and others. If it's on Kazaa someone probably likes it (and therefore wants to share it).

Re: Need songs for playlist
Does anyone know any really good bands from the 80s? I'd really like to get into some more 80s music, but I have no connections to it, so if anyone could let me know a few bands, that would make me happy.

Yeah, lots.
I personally love Mika Nakashima (See sig). Ayumi Hamasaki is standard, Hikaru Utada is great. Then there's BoA, the korean/japanese singer. M-flo if you like Japanese rap (hah) then there's lots of groups like The Colourless who are nice.
