Spots injuries
Part of this is curiosity, part of this is frustration.
I'm curious as to who else has suffered multiple injuries from sports, and I'm frustrated because I'm always injured from sports.
Past Injuries:
Left Shoulder seperation (hockey)
Kneecap displacement (basketball)
Chronic lower back spasm (hockey...ultimately ended my hockey 'career')
6 left ankle sprains (basketball, football...currently recovering from one)
4 right ankle sprains (basketball, football)
2 Mild Concussions (Football)
Calcium Deposits in thumbs
3 pinky finger dislocations
4 broken fingers
And now that the football season has started again, expect the list to grow.
I know some of you must have suffered from some sports injuries...

Re: Spots injuries
I've only had a couple injureis directly related to sports.
Broken back-lower lumbar something or other, I don't remember exactly which part I broke...*shrugs* (football, had to wear a brace for 8 weeks, ended any sort of chance for me in hard contact sports)
Broken thumb (baseball)
Various ankle sprains (football, basketball, baseball)
Chronic shoulder tendonitis (football)
That's about it.

Re: Spots injuries
Massive cartiledge damage in both knees. Had surgery on the right one which was botched and I never bothered to get surgery on the left. Besides there's not much you can do when you have cartiledge damage.
2 Herniated discs in the lower back
2 Torn rotator cuffs
Multiple sprains from ankles to groin to hamtring, quadriceps, you name it.
Disclocated shoulder (worst pain I've ever felt)
Multiple fingers breaks. I never bothered to count since I used to just tape my fingers together and go back out on the field. Now my right ring finger sort of points in its own direction. Its part of the life of a D-lineman.
If you'r wondering, I played Football (American), wrestled and played Rugby.

Re: Spots injuries
I've only had minor injuries in sports, but in grade 5, after a whole camp of soccer and soccer tryouts, I got tendonitis in my right ankle, and it put me out of commission for a while. Aside from that, I've had nothing serious at all.

Re: Spots injuries
Just a bunch of sprained ankles, dislocated fingers, and last year I strained both my quads.

Re: Spots injuries
I broke one of my legs one time at a family reunion playing 'Touch' football. The guy ( im pretty sure he was my cousin) was mad that we were winning, so he decided to tackel me repeatedly until he inflicted so much pain an ambulance had to come. One of the oh so more reasons why i love my family

Re: Spots injuries
Whoops, I forgot one. I broke my nose in a wrestling match when I got head-butted "by accident". The rest of the match did not go well for me.
Ever try and finish any sport after breaking your nose? It feels like someone stabbed you in the face with a fork but the worst thing is that YOU CAN'T SEE ANYTHING. All you see is a could of white with blurs of color and shadow.

Re: Spots injuries
I got a concussion in footbal once. I was bleeding from my mouth and nose. I was so dizzy. I didn't want to stop playing because it would leave my team short handed.
I ended up catching a touch down pass.
