Thumbs down What's going on at IGN????

A screen popped up about the license wasn't legal anymore or something and it asked if you still thrusted the site so I clicked 'yes'. Now I only get that ************************* insider registration page when I wanna see a picture or movie!!!

Soooooooo my question issssssss.... do you have the same problem? Would you know what I could do about it? Thanx!

Non-subscribers are limited to 5 images or movies per day.
Now they've really gone too far!!!

Why would they do that??? Of course, they want dumb people to sign up.

Smart people just go to other sites, where the same images are free!!

No, they want to reduce bandwidth costs. If it drives away people who don't pay, so much the better

You seem fixated on this idea that sites want the biggest audience possible. That's simply not true. IGN would rather have 5,000 paying readers than a million who don't pay. If you don't like it, go away. They aren't going to care, and Insiders like myself certainly aren't going to care.

Ever since gekko explained why IGN was doing this, it made sense.. and I'm fine with it -- hell, I'm trying to round up the cash so I can join.
