Default Advent Children

So apparently there is something big about Advent Children that they are not telling us. (at least that is what IGN seems to think) what do you think it could be? You think it is a game possibly, not just a movie? How well would that sell? I'd buy 2-3 copies!!! Either way, even if it is just a movie, I'll buy it. Problem is, it will either be subtitled or Godzilla style non-matching lips.

Well...of course it'll be subtitled or dubbed. The only two ways, right? Unless you know Japanese...

Anyway, a game would be nice as long as it remains closer to FFVII than FFX-2 did to FFX. *imagines dressing Cloud as a Songstress* *shudders*

It would be nice if the movie was more of a prologue to the game. If it told us where the party is now and sets up everything.

But I wouldn't put my hopes into it. A lot of times, these kinds of things never turn out as well as people hope.

Edit: Cool! I got the CamFuBot ^_^

I think it'd be really groovy if it was also a game... Or maybe is being released alongside a remake of FF7... Or anything game and FF7 related would be fine by me...

Arnt they using The same engine form FF: the sprits within to make the movie. Or is it going to be real actors.

From what Ive read about the movie is just going to be a sequal to FFVII the game. I dont expect too much from it other then some cool footage and some ass kicking. or atleast bahumt kicking some ass.

Yeah it's another clone isn't it?
Those 2 dudes could be clones too....

A surprise could be that it will be in the cinema. Not that I'm going to see it...

Part of the story is that suddenly these Sephiroth look-alikes are appearing at about the same time the virus starts killing people... Cloud investiagtes...

<-- really digs the Aeris death scene being in the movie...wonders if that'll be the only flashback

Exclamation Re: Advent Children

The official statement from Square Enix is that the movie is called Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, implying that it IS the actual sequel to it. And for those of you who believe Sephiroth isn't in this movie, your wrong. I don't know how, but Sephiroth was reborn somehow. I was watching the Trailer to this film and saw Cloud and Sephiroth battling it out for like 3 seconds, and so I know Sephiroth is in the movie.

I think it's coming out in the U.S. summer this year or next?

Yeah... We already knew the movie was a sequel to FFVII... What are you talking about?

And if you'll read my post, its being reported that there have been Sephiroth look alikes appearing around and Cloud is investigating.

So that may or may not have actually been Sephiroth. Also, you're nothing special just because you saw the trailer. I'm sure every single person who has posted in this thread has.

What makes you so certain? That is a generalization. Are you still located in The Netherlands (edited)?
Do you have any conditions I should know about?
