XBox 2 SDK's using Dual G5's
As Microsoft prepares for a possible 2005 launch of their next system, reports circulating around the industry today reveal that the Software Development Kits for the next Xbox have been shipped.
According to a report on theinquirer.net, the Xbox 2 SDK does contain IBM processors and features dual Apple Power Mac G5 systems running a custom Windows NT Kernel. It is not known, however, whether the custom Windows NT Kernel for the 64-bit capable IBM Power PC processors is 64-bit or 32-bit.
The source also states that the Apple Power Mac G5 is based upon two of IBM's 64-bit Power PC processors and features ATI RADEON 9800 Pro (R350) graphics. The R350 is believed to be an interim solution, however, and will, in due course, be superseded by the forthcoming ATI R420.
Additionally, it is reported that the Apple logo is featured on a side bar within the application.

Go Apple!
Anyway, that's cool, kind of strange, that a Microsoft gaming machine is powered by Apple's most powerful computer, but still cool, perhaps I will buy one now. Hmm...
Man, two G5s, that's going to be a killer console.

Duckhunt with the dog who laughs even more mockingly to the point that you break everything in the house and you still hear him laughing in your head.

Re: XBox 2 SDK's using Dual G5's
I don't think any of new consoles will be out before 2006. But anyway, what does SDK stand for?
