Ok I had to change the title to draw some attention to this thread... I know you beated the game a year ago, but I found out that the bonus game 'Leech Hunter' is REALLY cool. Read the last post.

I just bought this game for €30. Great game, but it looks a bit too much like REmake.

I really love the double character stuff. And I actually prefer the item system. Seems more natural.

Is it me or is this game harder than REmake? Cuz I started on 'normal' while I'm also playing RE1 on hard... and I had quite some problems staying alive.
Probably because I didn't know that those molotov coctails were effective against those leech-guys.

Do you think the game is longer or shorter than RE? I was kinda surprised when I had to put in disc 2... It didn't seem like I had been playing as long as the disc 1 part of RE1.
BTW you don't have to change discs when you're going back in the game? I've been playing on disc 2 for a while and I've went back several times to get some stuff...

Which one do you think is scarier? 1 or 0? 1 had more scary effects, but the enemies weren't as hard as in 0.

I just met a Tyrant and I died.... I guess it's the boss... Gotta give Rebecca the right equipment before Billly disapears.

Really makes me wanna play RE2, 3 and CV!!

Lol, the game is longer than expected. Kinda annoying that I left my handgun and stuff before I took the cable ride.. but I know I can go back. I just don't want to....

Yay, I beated RE0. The extra game is nice I guess... am I right if I say that I should FIRST kill all the enemies... and THEN collect the leech charms?? Is this game the only way to earn bonus weapons?? Or will I get stuff for completing the main game faster?

Oh yeah, Rebecca is DAMN HOT IN LEATHER! :eek: Seriously, I always thought of her as 'cute', but after seeing this...

My completion time was 9:31:23, ranked D. The boss was good I guess.

So I've been playing Leech Hunter quite a bit. It's cool, almost as cool as the main game.

Yesterday I've found 97 leech charms, I have NO idea where the last 3 were. I got a magnum. I already have the machine gun ammo and a handgun with unlimited ammo. I need to earn the machine gun and the unlimited ammo.

So far I've found 1 charm that isn't visible! You can find it in the lift (in the main game, Billy had to turn the wheel in order to get Rebecca up), just press A and you'll find it.

What costumes can the characters get? Rebecca: leather, cowgirl and Billy: jacket? Or are there more??? thanks.

I've played RE2 all the way through on N64. That's the only RE game I've ever played. The graphics on that beast beat RE0 and REmake any day, lol

Up until the 'Cube, all I had played was RE2 on the '64 like Yoda did. I'm still surprised to this day on how they were able to cram all the FMV's onto a '64 cart. (albeit the FMV's weren't high quality, but still more than understandable on what was going on)

I've been a big fan of Resident Evil since the beginning (RE was one of the first games I played in the PSX/N64 generation) yada yada blaaah Resident Evil 0 was good, but nothing amazing and I was dissapointed that (to my knowledge) there was only 1 ending...

The 2 character gameplay was pretty neat (and something new for the series, which was good), but would have been made even better if the whole series was given a makeover (as is apparently the case with RE4)...

resident evil 0 was the first of the RE series that i played in its entirety (sp?)

even though its was my first time that i beat an RE game i thought that it was a little short for my taste

and i thought that it would be harder, the puzzles were way too easy
