Question Exotic animals as pets...?

I'm watching the news right now. It's about exotic animals that people keep as pets. Racoons, parrots, monkeys and cameleons. What do you think?
I hate it. People don't know what to feed them and stuff. These animals are held in small cages, way too small for them. And when the animals are full-grown, people discover they are too difficult/agressive to handle. Then they dump them.

Some people do know how to take care of exotic pets, but the general public doesn't.

I really don't care if they have exotic animal. As long as people dont have elephants in their backyards it doesn't bother me.

i don't like it when people have them but don't have the proper things(i can't think of the word) for them to live properly. like i wouldn't like a guy owning a racoon that lives in a one bedroom apartment and feeds it scraps off the table.

I'm against it.

Half these people that have these kind of pets don't know how to take care of them.

I had a box turtle in elementry school. I was forced to give it away because of the messes it made. I gave it to this kid obsessed with reptiles. Two weeks later he gave away my turtle so he could get a chameleon. Chameleon don't adjust way and the next day it dyed. Well, he gave the turtle to my other friend and still has it to this day. Happy ending for turtle...not for chameleon...

Woman across the street has chickens which run around in the street and cause car accidents. Had roosters which use to cockadoodledoo at 3 in the morning. They had a parrot that makes cellular phone noises.

The guy at the reptile place I guy my turtle at got attacked by a python and almost lost his leg.

In the paper on Sunday there was a guy killed by his snake.

A few years ago in NJ a woman's tiger got loose and was then shot.

A lot of exotic animals die on the trip to America.

The chickens are mocking me.

I do not own any exotic animals... But here is a statistic for you all. Did you know that there are about 15,000 privately owned tigers in North America? And, there have been more reports of dog attacks than tiger attacks. Interesting, IMO.

Wow... I got a box turtle a week ago. He's in his little terarium right now. He's the best damn bud you could have

His name is Jake

Do you thinks it's okay for an exoctic person to have a regular animal?

As long as they know how to correctly take care of them and do it, then I don't care.

And as long as they were born in capticity and not in the wild and were kidnapped and stuck into someone's backyard.

That's evil.
