The pickings were slim for the beat 'em up genre this year but Return of the King and Viewtiful Jow really shone through. Chances are, one of them willl take the award...but which one?

Getting transported into a movie. Becoming a Super Hero. Slowing, speeding, and zooming time. Awesome cell-shaded game.

Viewtiful. Joe. Ever.

Ooh.. Dynasty Warriors 4 WAS pretty good.. but I'm going to have to go with Viewtiful Joe for this one. The game itself was the very meaning of cool.

Those dynasty warrior games are pure crap, played them at a friends house, its just beating up on the same damn guy time after time after time...no strategy, not much skill needed. B-O-R-I-N-G
