New post not a new post??!! (Read and understand)

I clicked on the New Posts button and it said there was a reply in the Ryu/Ken thread...so I went there and the post Dyne made was about a month old...but yet it the new posts said it was made at 3:16 am...

Check out the attachments to fully understand what I'm getting at. It's nothing major, but just something very odd I noticed.

Its because someone voted, and vB3 counts a vote as a new post. I just voted in there because I didn't when the thread was initially created and then when I went back to 'New Posts' this thread was at the top, so yeah.

Ahhh, ok. Now I understand...kind of a stupid thing...but I guess VB thought it was needed or something.

Happened to me yesterday, also.

It told me there was a new post in Canyarion's "Which do you Prefer?" thread, but I went there, and there was no new post.

Kinda freaked me out, but I just figured VB3 had made a mistake.

I guess I know the real reason now.

Thank god it was a bug.. I thought someone had jacked into my account and said something stupid in that thread.
