Whirlwind Heat

Any of you guys heard their stuff? They popped outta nowhere when Jack White discovered them and signed them to his label... And they've been opening a lot of shows for the White Stripes...

They're very different from the White Stripes... whereas the Stripes are kinda like blues-rock, with some songs having punk or country influence, and having a guitar and drums, Whirlwind Heat has drums, a bass, a moog, and sometimes another bass... And thier songs are fun and swell and live they are nuts (the lead singer goes nuts and jiggles and wiggles and jolts and everything)...

Check out "Silver"... I think that's one of their best songs... Along with "Blue" and "Orange"...

I've actually seen Whirlwind Heat live, but haven't heard any of their recorded music. They opened up for MC Paul barman once, and I was rather entertained by their live show. It's not exactly the kind of music I like, but at least they made it interesting on stage.
