Anybody plan on camping out for Matrix: Revolutions?
I kinda did for Reloaded. They didn't have a midnight showing where I live, so me and some friends got to the theatre at 4am so that we could buy tickets at noon for the first showing (at 4pm). I thought for sure we'd be the first in line. Just wasn't true, there were three kids in a tent that camped it out overnight. It was nice skipping school though, lol.
I mean, second in line is great, but if you're gonna stand in line for that long, why not just be first in line, right?
I'll only camp out if my friends want to do it too (which they probably won't), oh well.

Re: Re: Anybody plan on camping out for Matrix: Revolutions?
see, the only problem here in this timezone( toronto and NY, and such) is that it comes out at 9:00 AM, and odds are if i camp out i'm either gonna get mugged or shot......or if its a REALLY bad day, i'll get mugged AND THEN get shot. but my stupid parents won't let me skip school to watch it, and Yoda, happy's right, you should just get the tickets in advance, thats what i did for reloaded

See, I would do that, but this theatre is totally not cool and won't sell tickets in advance. The earliest they will ever sell tickets is Noon (when the first showing is at 4pm). And they will only accept tickets bought from the theatre. They will not accept free movie passes or any other coupon the first day (or week if its a really hyped up movie) of showing.
So in conclusion, my theatre is really, really stupid and communistic (if that's a word), lol. I don't mind waiting in line, you get to know your friends a lot better and have lots of fun. Especially if you have a laptop or gamecube, or 4 GBAs, or lightsabers when you're in the line for Episode 2, lol.

lmao, well you could always order them online, ... if its a big theatre, but if they won't sell them to you in advance in there i'm guessing its not that big a theatre in the first place
