It takes them an entire console generation to finish a game.
PS. Look at the first picture, then at the 3rd. Notice the detail improvement on the mask computery visual stuff. crazy.

Yeah, Blizzard even canceled Warcraft Adventures halfway through development because it wasn't coming out like they had hoped.
