VF4: EVO
Wow, just picked up this new gem. Anyone else try it?
It's like 40x better than VF4 was. And it's got customization, and the Anniversary mode, and the real people-programmed AI, and.. and.. and..!!
And it's $20!!
It got 9.5 at IGN, too. You guys should go pick it up.

I got it the day it came out... I thought VF4's fighting system was nice, but the Kumite mode just got way too hard way too soon so I didn't have too much fun with it...
So I figured I'd give it another shot since they totally redid the single player mode, and I think it's a whole lot better than before... But it's getting to be frustratingly hard again (only this time after almost 600 or so single player fights instead of like 30) which is annoying... But luckily Silent Hill 3 arrived today (^_^

Re: VF4: EVO
I'm seriously considering buying this game. I'm concerned about how much time I'll have to actually play the game, though.

It's a good pickup game. I mean, it's straight from the arcade. It's one of those titles you can pick up out of a whim, and there's an arcade you can warm up at. And at the price it's at, it's definitely worth it.

Yeah, I played a lot of VF4. It's a great pickup game, but it's also insanely deep...deeper than any fighter I've ever played. That's what I really loved about it.
