No it can't and it's got nothing to do with how the game looks! It's the amount of units you can have in the Game even a mid range PC will slow down on this game.

if hte original PS was able to handle Red Alert and the expansion pack (i forgot what it was called, but had the tesla tanks and such), than i see no reason why this game wouldn't be handled by a PS2

yeah it could play them slow and the graphics were complete sh!t they had to make the graphics sh!t just so it would run

I'm guessing it might be able to run on the PS2. The problems could be (1 like Puppet said), not as many units because this game needs a high end graphics card just to run good. The graphics might have to be dumbed down a little bit. Mainly probably just the detail level of buildings, etc... But its possible to run on all 3 consoles. If it was to come out for all 3, it might stand a better chance on the 'Cube and XBox.

especially on xbox, because of the hardrive and all the sheer graphics processing capabilities....it would still be nice to use a mouse tho....

Yes, a mouse is GREATLY needed if it was to be made for current consoles.
