Well, it's been a pleasure and privilege being your moderator. However, due to extenuating circumstances, I have to stop visiting the forums (for a few days). I'll be thinking of this forum while I'm away (for a few days). I sure am going to miss you guys (for a few days), and I hope you guys can deal with BigJustinW moderating this forum all by himself (for a few days).

Ok, here's the real story. As some of you may know, I belong to Swarthmore's Mock Trial team. Mock Trial is a competition whereby teams are given witness affidavits, photographs, physical evidence etc. for a fictional case (usually but not necessarily a murder). They have to develop a coherent case theory for the prosecution and defense and try both sides against other teams. Each team has lawyers to come up with case theory and actors to play the role of witnesses who answer the questions of lawyers on the stand. It's really quite fascinating, but it also takes a lot of work (I often have to give up most of my weekend).

I'm one of the witnesses (I'm playing a doctor...go figure). And here's the part you guys really care about: regional tournaments are starting. They are very important because they are a stepping stone into the national tournaments. If we do well in regionals, we get to compete against the finest mock trial teams in the country. Historically, Swarthmore is a pretty good team (nabbed second place in nationals last year), so I think our chances are good. In any case, we depart for regionals on Thursday night (yipes, that's today! I need to get some sleep). And I won't be back until Sunday (most likely).

I'll be back in business on Monday, and I'll give you guys a detailed update (if anybody cares).

Well Xanny I hope you have fun with your little mock trial thingy.. sounds like a pretty good idea though...

Hhaha Justin nice try, but I have never written anything nice about you on the forums. Why would I start now?

And I think you held the "shift" button button when you were spelling "edit", and that isn't the way I do my edits.

Is this all about me stealing your TheGame account at another forum?
