Default Sega the next EA or not?

First off I would like to say I love Sega! But they have started to become some thing of a worry to me. The games they have released of late have, well let’s been fare to them only good at the most. They seem to be rushed out to make money which a lot of them are not and the over all feel for the company is being lost. Now they are cutting and moving well established teams around probably for money reasons just like EA has done. I may be out here but the full of Sega just seem to continuing long after there hardware is dead.

You're probably just playing games from the wrong dev houses.

Smilebit
Amusement Vision
AM2

I agree with you. There are only a few titles which are selling well, which brings in less money for future titles. The mainstream titles are not what make Sega a great developer, and those are all that are selling.

Until Sega can do better financially, they won't be the same Sega they were when they had their own hardware.

Sega is trying to become the next EA, but they never will be.

I've been sayng this for the longest time, they need to pay thier dues to work up to EA's marketability level. EA becoming as big as it is was a slooow process. Sega has the potential to become somthing greater than EA... but for now with thier terrible marketing plans and raw bad luck the have no chance of touching EA in the near future.
