just wanted to revive the thread. man, i can't believe its gone! that thread was on its way to breaking the record for posts in a single thread! well, anybody got any miscellaneous lord of the ring or tolkien talk, go ahead and post it here...

lets see...hmmm....i saw the movie...twice!
and the second time i saw it...it was kinda  well...
GREAT!!!
i couldnt believe that i still liked it as much as i did when i watched it the first time!
its an amazing movie!
and im almost half-way through the first book...i stopped reading that much after i saw the movie...but ill start reading it again sometime in the near future...after exams probably. |

I finished the Hobbit a few days ago. Got a 100 on my book report  . I'm in the process of starting the Fellowship of the Ring.

I am just about to start book 2 in 'Fellowship Of The Ring' I am at the point where Frodo is a idiot and puts on the ring and gets stabbed by the Black Horsemen then Strider jumps in with sticks that are on fire.

I finally saw the trailer yesterday, but I wish I hadn't. Spoilers! 
I've already read the book twice, but I want the movie to surprise me.

ahhhhh, okeley dokeley.
Well, Ive read the first book, and Ive barly started the second. My attention span is to short to read this. Every sic months or so I come back and read some.
I saw the movie, and its right up there with the matrix in my sic-O-meter. One of, if not the favourite movie of mine.

Wow, I posted this thread back in the GT's new server days. This was even before the movie came out? Maybe shortyly after. What were you doing reading threads this old? What was I thinking with that title

Little children will once more be able to play on the streets, and old folks can sit in their armchairs without fear of being mugged or burgled, etc. Over 90% of the crimes comitted in the world are linked to Warez, and if you do it, you are contributing to that 90% of crime. How would you like it if the Warez scene's next victim was someone you loved. So do the right thing, and don't do warez; because it's wrong. Morally, and ethically wrong.
