Has anybody played Enter the Matrix?
I'm considering buying this game, buuut, I just don't know. I have got mixed reactions from so many damn sites... Has anybody here played/beat it? Also, would you reccomend it or not to a hardcore matrix fan like myself?

I have it. It you are hardcore, like you say, you should get it. The parts that stand out are the combat system (which is cool), and the cutscenes (also cool). Its not an amazing game, but its way better than spider-man.

Cool, thanks...
Have you played Max Payne before? I was wondering how the bullettime gun fighting compares.

I've seen a friend play Max Payne, and I feel that the bullet time looks a bit similar. However, the Matrix's bullet time is controlled by L1... which, when held, gives your character the ability to preform some pretty nutty stunts.
I liked the game. Plus, it gives some story line that the movie didn't add in.

I rented the Matrix. I beat it in about 4 hours game clock time. That was with the girl. Ive heard the the game with the guy isnt much different, so we're looking at 8 hours of gameplay time, tops. There are 3 difficulty levels, I played on easy. Its basically just follow the arrow gameplay, with a car chase level or 2 thrown in for good measure. The story seemed meh...but im not a big matrix fan. I will admit the fighting and ''focous'' manuvers are neat, but this game is nothing more than a short rental for me. But im not a big matrix fan

Okay game... not as bad as people make it out to be. Rent it... not more... Still it's obvious shovelware.

Good game, I enjoyed, if you are a Matrix fan you should at least rent it to witness more of the storyline.

Rent rent rent. I thought it was pretty cruddy overall but it had some cool parts, like the slo-mo like the others said.
I think it's definitely worth it to play it, because of
*spoiler*
When Niobe kisses Persephone. Like, omfg. Nice.

I went ahead and purchased it with store credit (GCN version)... I don't even know why I had doubts about this game now
I haven't had much time with it, but melikes. If I wasn't so hopelessly in love with the Matrix movies I think it would be below average... but having a licence I love can change everything. (hell, I liked DBZ:B more than any fighter in 2002 because of the licence)
All it realy had to be to warrant a purchase from me was half decent.
Did anybody here get the Bonus DVD? I got it, and the little Animatrix short makes me now interested in buying the Animatrix DVD. Everything else on the DVD was, err, of no value to me.

lol...beat it in 4hrs....really good IMO
but it feels like its not quite done, a lot of features that are almost standard in most games are just missing now. For example, most first person/third person shooters nowadays let u destroy computers and stuff when u shoot at it...but i spent like 3 mp5 clips trying to destroy a computer screen and it was just as damn bright and annoying as before :
***SPOILERS***
the best levels IMO is in the Chateau, those levels kick ass, beating the s*** out of the vampire/werewolf dudes is fun. Oh and Trinity is soooo easy to beat (u face her if you play with ghost). THe ending levels are just unfinished buggy crap i mean honestly, even if it had a higher framerate, it looked horrible. oh, and not to mention the driving engine god that sucked ass! i dunno whether my controller is broken, but i had to be constantly tapping X to go at a decent speed, computer Niobe can't drive for **** and computer controlled Ghost can't shoot for ****. not to mention some parts are so unrealistic, i mean ugh...the driving for example...if you flip over u just magically appear upside again, and also if you control ghost you have an mp5 with unlimited bullets and unlimited bullets per clip. Other than all that and a few glaring A.I. problems i would highly recommend this game to any matrix fan
