I enjoy video RPGs more than table-top.
Anti-social personality and all.

Parents banned me from Dungeons and Dragons so I've had to resort to more video games. Yes, folks. I was banned. Only because my folks thought I could go crazy, or sacrifice chickens, or burn candles, or drugs, or something that might harm my body.
I WOULD say video RPGs, but not given that option, it's a tough choice between both. Tabletop is soo much more involving, you use much more of your imagination, and you give your brain a real workout. Plus, human interaction. When you look at MMORPGs, the benefits are really... anywhere, any time, as opposed to your friends who probably have a life, like you do, and that you'll meet strange and exotic people, rather than greasy Trevor or Smelly Rob you always play with. I don't know, I wouldn't be able to vote, but given the likeleness of me not playing tabletop until I've moved away from home, I'd go with the online people. It's 10 new people to meet every day, or more if you're active.

I like online, but hacks really ruin the experience as does lag. So I'll go with Video game rpg's with friends (FF:CC!!!!!)
That way it's more fun with ur friends.

I dont know what it is, but hardcore D&D people just freak me out. I mean, I know one at my school, and he really smells and always spouts out things like "God of doom" and "133t master". I think he has A.D.D. to, but I wont jump to that conclusion. Im not saying all of them are like him, but he has scared my image, as well as many tv programs depicting them as such.

Its takes Pen and Paper RPGs an hour what a videogame can do in about 10 minutes.

I don't understand the question of the topic... what is a 'tabletop' or 'video' RPG?

Table Top are classic pen and paper or dice RPG. AD&D is an example but there are others, but almost every game uses the same rules and stuff.
I never got into playing, but I have a few friens who do, but are not addicts.
Every Friday when we come home from the bar around 2 AM, we go to the West Chester Diner to observe who we have named "The Brethren". They are a group of about 50 hard core table top gamers who are very loud and outspoken of their love of D&D and they take over the smoking section. Its fantastic just to sit back and listen to thier conversations as I down a Western Omlette with a side of Scrapple.

At tabletop RPG is a pen and paper RPG. Dungeons and Dragons is the most popular. They're the kind where you create characters with these sheets of paper and the whole game is more or less controlled by dice (at least the outcomes of things).
Video RPGs are video games.. RPGs. Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, Chrono Trigger, etc.
