Know anything about diabling an alarm?

There was an electrical storm last night and it screwed up the alarm in my apartment. Everytime I open the door it calls the police. The tech people won't be here for another few days. I took of the panel but I don't know which wires to cut. There are two blue, two white and a green. I cut a white but it didn't do anything.
