Favourite Video Game Story Of All Time
So many amazing stories have been presented in video games. Some rival the greatest of books and Hollywood movies. For me, a good story is an essential part of a video game, and I've experienced some amazing stories in my many years of play.
But one video game series has come above the rest. Its story ties together to make one of the most insightful, thought out, and simply breathtaking stories of all time.
That series is of course, the Chrono series. Why I could sit here all day and discuss the wonders of that amazng story which started in Chrono Trigger on SNES and continued in Chrono Cross for PSX (let's pray for that Chrono 3!).
So tell me, what's the greatest story you've ever witnessed in a video game/series?

I would have to say the story of Shaq-Fu, it touched me on a level that no other game has.. no wait that was anger for wasting 50 bucks..
I really don't know, I don't play many plot driven games,I would say Skies of Arcadia, but they contained the whole plot in one game and plan on making a sequel, if it uses the same characters it may ruin the story.
Probably Zelda since there is finally some connection to the stories and whatnot...

Was that the Shaq fighting game for the Genesis? That thing sucked so bad...
Anyway, best story of all time has to be Final Fantasy 7.

It has to be Eternal Darkness, closely followed by Majoras Mask (check out the Majoras Mask thread on the Zelda forum at the IGN game boards).

breath of fire on the SNES comes to mind but that could be the fact I'm replaying it on my Xbox (Emu's just don't look the same on a PC/Mac but they do on an Xbox ).
