is saying is that AOL/AIM is not loading the buddy lists!! Im very pissed off and dont understand why this is happening!

*Edit* Just got done talking to an AOL Help Chat Person and he said that its a System Problem and they are "trying" to fix it. He doesnt have an exact time as to when it will be fixed.

This is because AOHell as we AOL users like to call it, mergered with Time-Losers as we like to call Time-Warner.

Time-Warner is owned by Di$ney, and Disney is known for destroying ISPs with one hand tied behind their back, let me see:

Right now Disney owns one of my Favorite TV Shows, my Favorite Special FX house, they've taken my ISP and my money.

I've heard then called the "Friendly Microsoft", but I prefer the term "The UNfriendly Average Joe", meaning they're as bad as Microsoft, justwith les ca$h oozing out of there ears, albiet not a lot less.

Now that they have a subsidary which is doing it's best to butcher AOL to look like Windoze XP, I'm hoping they take the advice "Buisnessweek" magazine gave them, which is TIME WARNER--LEAVE AOL ALONE, They are FINE WITHOUT YOU!

In other words, don't blame AOHell, blame Time Warning for screwing up this ISP, at least I have my Broadband ISp, but they're allied with M$ in every way possible so I am NOT a hapy person, and yes, my buddy list is fsked up as well, my friends know it because they wonder why I'm not chewing their ears off right now.

With that said, DIM AOL as AOHELL and if AOHELL is > AOL, go to ditch ISP.

Yeah the code there sucks but you get the idea.

meh I use the canadian AOL 7.0 and have problems like getting disconnected 6+ times in a couple of hours every so often.

The AOL cookies don't always work with AOL browser in forums for me.

I just submitted a form to beta test 8.0 cdn version so I'll find out in a few days, even though I have been thinking of getting a new computer in order to have Shaw@Home like what Dyne has.

oh yeah I HATE the ******* AOL I have right now.

To Duffman: AIM Buddy Lists are failing for many people, not just you. It's a problem like your real life friend Jonbo said. There's a problem with the system or something, get over it. You should be studying anyways or doing homework. If you don't like it so much, why do you use it? Besides, you couldn't make a chat program anywhere near as good as AIM so until you can, live with it.

P.S. Jonbo, didn't we have a talk about bringing real life friends here?

Wow gamemaster thanks for telling me that I cant make something as horrible as aim. Why are you not studying or doing homework, why are you on here trying to make people mad. That doesn't mean you're obligated to use it. Sorry if I'm bothering but I just think the way you started this thread is real immature. Just because the buddy lists are down doesn't mean you have to have a temper tantrum.

It not just because of that I constantly get kicked off they never give a response to any of my emails and if you call them you never get through I guess this just pushed me over the edge. Man I hate Bob Barker.

Doesn't AOL provide broadband?

If not, they better get on it quick. Otherwise they'll be left eating the dust of the competition.

I'm sure they've got something planned, though. They can't be so stupid as to not notice that more and more people are getting broadband these days.
