Default The Sims?

Has anybody here played The Sims for Ps2?

If so, how does it compare to the PC version, and did you like/dislike it?

been looking into the sims. thought about getting it for PC to try out.

from what i been reading and looking at.

PC version is better. obviously. has a lot more to it. expansion packs. online.... downloads galore....

PS2 version. for what reason im not sure. maybe the pics i was lookin at for pc were bad. but PS2 seems to have slightly more rounded graphics. (pc more clear. but little more blocky) maybe thats because the world on the PC is so much bigger it takes up more so it doesnt spend time on the graphics..... or as i said. maybe just old pics *shrugs*

if i were to get one. id get one of the newer ones on PC. unleashed or Online.

But never REALLY tried them out.

the PC game is 2D (except for character models and such) and the PS2 game is fully 3D... yep...

Also, one of the extras in "The Sims" on PS2 is unlocking the PC version (according to PSM) Of course, you don't get the expansions and lots of online downloads...

I haven't played Sims for PS2. But probably will buy it when its released for 'Cube since I need another game that will suck my life for a while (Animal Crossing). I have a resurgence for games like Sims. But I've heard that its pretty good for PS2.
