Thumbs up PSO: Dream Messenger Quest

OMG! Sweetness!!!! I haven't touched PSO in a couple weeks. Went on today, saw the Xmas decorations. Heard about Santa Rappies, w00t! Too bad my level is crap, and I won't find them

Anyway, played the Dream Messenger quest, the NiGHTS one. It was awesome seeing NiGHTS on there! Finished it, got the NiGHTS SCORE ATTACK.

Well I went into the Shops/Pioneer Warehouse quest, to download it to my GBA. OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! OMG!! w0000000000t!!!!!!!!!! *faints*

This is the sweetest game I've ever played!!! It's a modified version of NiGHTS, resembling the first dream of Claire. Plays a little differently, you need to go through all the rings, and grab all the blue chips, then return to the goal within the time limit. No Ideya Capture in this one. But it's so damn fun!!! And portable!!! I should buy another GBA so I never have to turn it off

This would've been better on the NGPC, with the joystick. But it's still playable with the d-pad for sure. And, it's so beautiful. And the NiGHTS music in the background *sniff* Brings back memories of the last time I played NiGHTS for Saturn (yesterday ) *sniff* I'm going to cry, it's so beautiful!!!

I love you Sonic Team!!!

Well, just a warning, this Xmas stuff is up through the 15th of Jan. After that, you can't play the quest anymore, and since you can't actually access the item to trade, you won't be able to play NiGHTS, arguably the bestest Saturn game evah!

Hopefully I'll have my BBA by then, I need to see one of those St. Rappies...

If I wasn't a lv 22, I'd be all over that. I got a ways to go before I could search for them on vhard, and even longer to get to search on Ultimate.

Saw my first rare today, on Forest Normal. I was shocked, Tombor grabbed it, it was a Photon Drop. Still trying to get to the level where it's more fun, finding rares. Only problem is, I need some more people to play with.

And are you having trouble finding a BBA, or don't you have money? Cause I know of a couple import shops selling them, and Nintendo is shipping the US ones again soon.

I found an import shop and was going to buy it, but when I heard that Nintendo was shipping new ones I decided to wait. And about the St. Rappies, from what I've read over at the PSO World forums it looks like they are being found on all difficulties, so you probably could find one in Normal or Hard Forest/Temple...

They appear on all dificulties. Not only very hard like some say. My friend hunts for them in very easy(he has found 9 already. I hate him I have only found one). Also, here's a tip. Check only the first two rooms since they appear there the most. If they don't appear there just make a new game.

And yeah, the "Nights: Score Attack" game is great. I wonder if you can keep it in one of those fake cartidges they sell. BTW, what has been your highest rank? i have only been able to get E and S, or something like that.

I got the game for X-mas! Now all I need to do is set up the internet and hopefully find someone to allow me to get my first month free until I turn 18 on Jan. 12th But I'm only at about lvl 23 right now. I might try the NiGHTS game if I can get online with it. Sounds great. I've never played nights, but it sounds good.

HUmar, now lvl 30.

Just finished normal offline yesterday. What a bore. I never used to have a problem with offline, but I forgot, that was when I was lvl 100 walking through Ruins with a spread needle finding rares. I liked offline, because every rare that showed up was mine! All mine!

Now offline just sucks. So far I've seen 3 rares. Photon drop in normal forest, photon drop in normal ruins, and Flowen's Sword in hard ruins. Whoop de doo! I just need to finish the offline crap so I can be done with it. Those of you without a BBA and playing offline, I don't know how you do it. Maybe you don't understand how good the game really is, because you're not there yet. Going from lv 100 to the lower levels just sucks. Oh well.

And Jonobo, it's not only at lv 23. Level 20 is one of the big marks to hit. At that point, you can play hard offline. And on hard you level up like nothing. 2 days ago, when I made this thread, I was lv 20, trying to hit 21. Playing with Tombor, decided on a quick normal forest run, too bad I'm too stupid to remember how little exp you get. After that, he left, I went to find some random games. I played through Hard forest once, then found a game where we played from hard forest to Dark Falz (final boss, ruins). I was lv 26 getting out of there, would've been 27 but I was dead when he was beaten because they ran out of moons. I died that often.

Yesterday, made another run through forest and caves on hard. I'm lv 30 now. 2 days, 10 levels. Gotta love that!

Then the next big level to hit is 40 I think, for vhard. And finally 80 for Ultimate. But word of advice, don't do Ultimate at lv 80 without doing the hit and run metheod (hit them all once, let others defeat, get exp). I played Ultimate forest at lv 100 when PSOv2 came out, I got my ass kicked so bad it wasn't even funny.

I remember the good ol' days...

Hit 36 today, should be higher, but I was getting lens read errors for about 2 weeks and I just sent the GCN in Monday. I got it back 2 days ago, but still I really can't play for long periods of time by myself. It just gets boring. Playing online is what makes this fun. Oh well, I should have it soon and then...

You should just pick up the import BBA. It's not like you need the instruction manual or anything. Plus, look at the advantages:

1) You could be playing PSO with gekko at this moment
2) No blister packs to deal with.

See? Perfect solution
